ON TO THE THICK OF THE POST!
1.) If I didn't write, I would spend way too much time watching TV. When I think about all the time I spend writing (whether it's a story or a blog post) I would have hours and hours and hours of free time. It sounds good, but it would also scare me to have that much freedom. Plus, I might turn into a couch potato from staring at the TV screen all day.
2.) If I didn't write, I wouldn't have some of the friends I do. I got to know a lot of people better in my ILA class and a writing club last year at school that wouldn't have ever really talked to if we hadn't both loved to write (and read). That would be sad...
3.) If I didn't write, I would not be able to think straight. There are so many ideas and characters and plots percolating in my head at all times. If I didn't write....I shiver to think of what would happen inside my brain. Probably, my characters would start a revolution against me.
4.) If I didn't write, there would be three empty drawers in my desk! Two of them hold my extensive collection of journals, and the other is stuffed with notebook paper filled with stories and words.
5) If I didn't write, I wouldn't know what to do. What would my calling be? Reading? Dancing? Art? Singing? Music?
6.) If I didn't write, this blog post wouldn't exist.
