(Don't worry, it won't stay there for long. I don't want it to fade!)
Author: Heather Vogel Frederick
Sneak Peek: Truly Lovejoy (yes, that's really her name) is new to town, practically as tall as a giraffe, and her dad's just come home from Afghanistan. Her life isn't exactly perfect. When she stumbles upon an old (possibly valuable??) copy of Charlotte's Web and then it disappears, she pounces on the mystery, along with her new friends. Will she solve the mystery or will it absolutely truly go down in flames?
My Review: I. Loved. It. Unlike Guitar Notes (you can find my review for it under the Review category), this book absolutely truly did not sit around waiting to be read. I love Heather Vogel Frederick, so I had been waiting and waiting for Absolutely Truly to arrive. When it did, I purchased it at Barnes & Noble and read it right away. Truly is an extremely relatable character. She has problems that ordinary kids have, she does things that ordinary kids do, and she has the same annoying siblings as the rest of us. I was immediately intrigued by life in Pumpkin Falls and did not want to put the book down! At 355 pages (counting the epilogue), Absolutely Truly is a book worth reading!!
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
