Hey! If you've been a reader of my blog for a while, then you know that I was planning to change my site address tomorrow. I'M NOT GOING TO ANYMORE! I will eventually, though. Here's what happened: I looked up the site address I wanted just to make sure it didn't already exist. It doesn't. Yet for some reason the site-address-changer-thing on Weebly says it's taken! I really don't know what that means but until I figure it out, my site address will be staying the same. I'll be holding off any further posts until I figure this out. I'm super sorry about that! I had some great things lined up and I hope I can still deliver them. I'm so sorry for causing all this confusion. I hope that you found your way here and get the story before you just give on my blog! If the new site address doesn't work out, I may change it to a new, different name. But I'll give you plenty of advice warning before doing that, I promise. Thank you for reading this frantically written post! All my planning and hard work led up to this and now I've just realized I can't follow through, so I'm extremely upset! Once again, my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience and confusion this may have caused. If you have any questions, comments, concerns then please feel free to reach out to me in the comments! -Olivia

Hey! I just wanted to let y'all know that I am in the middle of renovations here on my blog. It will be done for tomorrow, August 1st! Everything is going to be a little wonky today, though. I can't wait for everyone to see the finished product tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by! -Olivia
Before reading my post, I have a VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! On August 1st, I am changing the name of my blog from Writer's Digest (by Olivia) to Pageturner!! That means the site address will change as well. The new address will be pageturner.weebly.com! If you go to my old address starting August 1st, then you won't reach my blog! So please help spread the word so no one is confused! Hi guys! I can't believe it's already so deep in July. Summer, where are you going? Seriously. Please stay. Let's have now have a moment of silence to recognize the summer that is slipping away so quickly... Thank you. So, today's post is going to be about 10 authors that I love! Some of them will be ones that you've heard about before, and some will be ones that were from a long time ago and aren't here anymore, and some will be ones that I might never have mentioned, but I love them! Let's get started! 1.) J.K. ROWLING J.K. Rowling is the author of the Harry Potter series, along with some adult books and more. I admire her so much. She is the ultimate author and I credit her with creating the greatest fictional world of all time- the wizarding world! Books I Love By J.K. Rowling- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Fantastics Beasts and Where to Find Them, Quidditch Through the Ages 2.) HEATHER VOGEL FREDERICK Heather Vogel Frederick has given me yet another world to live in that I wish existed! Her blog and website inspired me to start my own. Writer's Digest probably wouldn't be here if it weren't for her or her books- and my dream of being an author might not, either. Books I Love By Heather Vogel Frederick- The Mother Daughter Book Club, Much Ado About Anne, Dear Pen Pal, Pies and Prejudice, Home for the Holidays, Wish You Were Eyre, The Mother-Daughter Book Camp, Absolutely Truly, Once Upon a Toad 3.) TRENTON LEE STEWART Trenton Lee Stewart is one of the best authors I've ever read. The way he has with words is absolutely amazing. If I can ever be half as well written as he is, then I will be more than happy! I also love that his books are very thick, so the adventure isn't over quite so quickly. ;) Books I Love By Trenton Lee Stewart- The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Perilous Journey, The Prisoner's Dilemma, The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict 4.) L.M. MONTGOMERY L.M. Montgomery, 1874-1942, wrote my favorite book of all time. Just because she's not current, or maybe her books are old fashioned, doesn't mean they should be avoided. She wrote amazing, delightful classics that will be around forever! Books I Love By L.M. Montgomery- Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island, Anne of Windy Poplars, Anne's House of Dreams, Anne of Ingleside 5.) CHRIS COLFER Chris Colfer is a well-known actor and singer and producer, and a great author! His series is a fairytale spinoff, which I love, and is so vibrant and real. Don't underestimate him just because he does other things besides write. Books I Love By Chris Colfer- The Wishing Spell, The Enchantress Returns, A Grimm Warning, Beyond the Kingdoms, Queen Red Riding Hood's Guide to Royalty, The Mother Goose Diaries 6.) CLETE BARRETT SMITH Clete Barrett Smith has awesome books, but the reason I like him so much is his website. I visited it, and it's full of advice for writers and a lot of humor. Altogether, he seems like a really nice person, and his books are great! Books I Love By Clete Barrett Smith- Aliens on Vacation, Aliens on a Rampage 7.) WENDY MASS Wendy Mass has so many different types of books, all of which I love. I like how she writes about a lot of different things (even different genres) instead of just staying to one. And her books! Fabulous! Books I Love By Wendy Mass- The Candymakers, Every Soul a Star, Jeremy Fink and the Meaning of Life, A Mango Shaped Space, Rapunzel: The One With All the Hair, Sleeping Beauty: The One Who Took the Really Long Nap, Beauty and the Beast: The Only One Who Didn't Run Away 8.) RICK RIORDAN Rick Riordan is the king of mythology retellings. His series are all so good that I could go on about them for years and about a thousand blog posts, but I won't. I'll just tell you to go read them right now. Books I Love By Rick Riordan- The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titan's Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth, The Last Olympian, The Lost Hero, The Son of Neptune, The Mark of Athena, The House of Hades, The Blood of Olympus, The Red Pyramid, The Throne of Fire, The Serpent's Shadow, The Demigod Diaries,The Sword of Summer, The Hidden Oracle 9.) ANN M. MARTIN Ann M. Martin has written so many books that just warm my heart! All of them make you feel cozy and homey and, oh, I just love them so much. Books I Love By Ann M. Martin- The entire Babysitters' Club series, Welcome to Camden Falls, Needle and Thread, Tis the Season, Best Friends, The Secret Book Club, September Surprises, Keeping Secrets, Special Delivery, Coming Apart, Staying Together, Rain Reign, Belle Teal, The Doll People, The Runaway Doll, The Meanest Doll in the World, The Doll People Set Sail, Ten Rules For Living With My Sister, Ten Good and Bad Things About My Life (So Far), Everything for a Dog 10.) SUZANNE COLLINS Suzanne Collins has written a lot of books I haven't read, but I absolutely love the Hunger Games series, so I needed to include her on my list. I have to admit, I thought I'd hate the Hunger Games, but I ended up loving it. So give it a chance! Books I Love By Suzanne Collins- The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay So, those are 10 authors that I love! I definitely like a lot more and I couldn't include them all here. In the comments, let's chat! What authors do you like? Do you agree with any of mine? Any that you want to add? See you there!
-Olivia Before reading my post, I have a VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Hello blog readers! Today Olivia is bring to you a tag, which was brought to her by Emily @ For the Bookish, whose tag you can read by clicking here. It's a beautiful bookish tag, so of course she had to do it! Anyway, I want to thank Emily for tagging me! Three cheers, everybody! And now, let's get on to the tag! I'm very excited for this. The questions are absolutely thrilling! What book is on your nightstand right now? Book? As in singular? Haha, you're funny. No really, I always have a huge stack on my nightstand, even if I'm not reading them all.
What was the last truly great book you read? Honestly, there are so many truly great books out there. I'm not the sort of person to say with fancy air, "There are few truly great and worthy books in our world. The rest are just frauds." No, all books are great, thank you very much. Keep in mind this is the last one I read, so I'm not trying to offend other books out there. The last one was Since You've Been Gone, by Morgan Matson. If you could meet any other-dead or alive-who would it be? And what would you want to ask them? What? How am I supposed to answer this? This is very difficult for me, because I feel inclined to go with an author who's no longer here, because there's absolutely no chance of meeting them. BUT WAIT! I can ask them in Heaven! But I have to go with the one author that I look up to and I have absolutely zero chance of ever even seeing her in real life, much less meeting her and being able to talk to her. I would just want to get to know her. I read Harry Potter books and then I feel like I have a connection to her, but really I don't. It would be amazing to be able to know someone who created the world that you would be lost without. What books might we be surprised to find on your shelves? I think I've covered most everything. We've got fantasy, a little sci-fi, mythology, realistic fiction, historical fiction, classics. Maybe the only surprising thing would be my dance recital programs, because I don't think bookish people are usually thought of as dancers, but I love dance. How do you organize your personal library? Very particularly, that much I can say! To see a full tour on what exactly I mean, click here to see my bookshelf tour. What book have you always meant to read and haven't gotten around to yet? Anything you feel embarrassed never to have read? Nothing right off the top of my head, since if I want to read a book I do just that- read it. I spend most of my time rereading books while I search for new ones, which are surprisingly difficult to find. I feel a little embarrassed to have not read Pride and Prejudice, since it's such a classic. But I'm probably a little too young for it, so I'm just waiting until the right time. Still, it's not like I don't totally know a lot about it, thanks to the MDBC. Disappointing, overrated, just not good: what book did you feel you are supposed to like but just didn't? Do you remember the last book you put down without finishing? I didn't like The Maze Runner. People keep reassuring me that it gets better, but I don't know if I'll try it again, because it just wasn't it for me. But I don't know anyone who got all the way through it and didn't like it, so maybe I'll try again someday. As for DNF, it was actually probably The Maze Runner. Like I said, I mostly reread books, so there's not much of a chance I won't finish them. I usually only try new books I know I'll like, so DNFing doesn't happen to me much. What kind of stories are you drawn to? Any you stay clear of? I'm drawn to fairy tale spinoffs a lot, as well as realistic fiction that seems to reflect realistic life a lot. I'm also drawn to classics because I personally love old fashioned things. I stay clear of books with too much bad language or too much romance. It's okay to have some, like in the MDBC or Percy Jackson or Harry Potter, but when the entire plot circles around it, I don't like that. If you could require the president to read one book, what would it be? I don't think I'm the right person to ask this. I pay no attention to politics, sorry. What do you plan to read next? Honestly, I don't plan ahead. I just pick a book off my shelf and go with it. As for who I tag... I TAG YOU. The person who doesn't have a blog and wishes they could answers these questions but can't. So go! Answer them in the comments! See you there!

So please help spread the word so no one is confused! Hello everybody! Today, we'll be interviewing three readers of Writer's Digest. They all read my post about this, answered the questions, and now, as promised, they're going to get featured on an interview post! I'm not using everyone's response for every single question, but I might for some of them. Their responses will be in normal type, like this, and if I have any commentary, then I'll do it in italics, like this. Let's get started! 1.) If you're a bookish person, do you also enjoy writing?
2.) Who is your favorite author and why?
3.) What gives you inspiration?
4.) Do you like movies with "people actors" or animated movies?
5.) Would you rather live on a farm or in a New York City apartment?
6.) If you like to write, what do you like to write best, and why?
7.) When you're not doing bookish activities, what do you like to do?
8.) Beach or mountains- and why?
9.) Where is the most beautiful place you've ever been?
10.) Do you like going to the library?
11.) If you were to pursue a career in reading/writing, what would you do?
12.) What is your favorite time period, and why is it your favorite?
I just loved reading their answers! I would also love to hear yours, so be sure to comment your responses! See you there.
