Hello! I haven't posted in forever (school=life taken over) so I thought we would get back on track with a review! If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy to play an instrument. :)
Title: Guitar Notes
Author: Mary Amato
Sneak Peek: Tripp Broody's mother is not pleased with his grades. Neither is she pleased when he spends his whole summer on the guitar. (Personally, I think I would be happy if somebody spent all summer with a guitar! Sounds fun to me, a fellow guitar player!) Anyway, he signs up for the school's practice rooms so that on odd days, he can play the guitar to his heart's content. Lyla Marks is practically a professional cellist. Every music school under the moon should want her at their school. She has the room on even days. What starts as an argument branches into a friendship and then...
No, I'm not going to tell you the end!!!! Read it to find out. ;)
My Review: I got this book a long, long time ago. It sat on my shelf for a long, long time. Unread. But then one day, I picked it up and didn't put it down for a long, long time. *grins* Yep. This was at the bottom of my "to be read" pile but once I read it, I didn't want to stop. I highly recommend that you read this! At 273 pages, it's not SHORT but not super long. Read it!! :)
Thanks for reading! Stayed tuned for a September/August Top Ten (if I ever get around to it!)!
