.) First up is The Doll People Set Sail, by Ann M. Martin and Laura Godwin. I actually finished this one the night of getting it, because it was a short and sweet read. I loved the pictures (right when I wonder what everything looks like, I get an illustration), and it was written amazingly, as always. If you haven't read the Doll People series, I recommend starting with those, but you definitely don't want to miss this series.
.) I'm going to combine three into one- September Surprises, Coming Apart, and Keeping Secrets (all by Ann M. Martin). These are all a part of the Main Street series, which is definitely one of my all-time favorites. (Visit this post to hear more ranting on it.) I've already read these, but there's no law against rereading! (And there never should be, or I'll become a criminal.)
.) Then there's Stage Fright, by Meg Cabot. I discovered the Allie Finkle series a long time ago, and ever since then I've been returning to them. Sure, maybe they're not at my reading level anymore, but they're cute and funny and really awesome! READ THEM, PLEASE!
.) Next is The Forget-Me-Not Summer, by Leila Howland. I've never heard anything about it, but I saw it, and I thought it looked great! I'll keep you tuned on what I end up thinking! :-)
.) And I'm going straight into The Fire Wish, by Amber Lough. This book was part of a reading list I had for over the summer- I had to pick one out of twenty books to read. I read Tut: The Story of my Immortal Life, by P.J. Hoover (it's awesome! more about it later!), but one of my good friends read The Fire Wish and she really enjoyed it! Sooo....I decided to check it out and see what it's all about. ;-)
.) And last but not least, we have....Shadow on the Mountain, by Margi Preus! This book was recommended to GREATLY by Anna (she said it's her favorite book)! And what kind of best friend and bookworm would I be if I didn't read my best friend's favorite book??!! That's why I checked it out. You can pretty much count on a review for it coming out!
And that's all for today. Hopefully you enjoyed reading about the books I'm reading. Let me know in the comments your thoughts- have you read these? Not read them? Liked them? Disliked them? I'll be waiting! See you there. :-)
