So, I started to think...what to post about? And I decided that I'll share some of my favorite books, series, and authors (because without them I wouldn't be a book lover) and then if you'd like you can comment about yours too, because I would love to know! Maybe we share the same favorites? Who knows? So, onto my favorite books!

So...the next one in this series hasn't come out yet, so I can still get away with putting this one in my "favorite book" section. Heheh. I've done a review on Absolutely Truly before, so click here to check that out, but if you want to read even more of my perspective on it, keep on going! I think I may have mentioned this before, but Truly Lovejoy is one of most relatable characters I've ever encountered. (Her rivals are the Mother Daughter Book Club girls. Both them and Truly are created by the same author, which explains why you're going to be hearing about Heather Vogel Frederick in my "favorite authors" section later. :-) Haha!) I'm also going to touch base at her name for a little bit. It's truly amazing. If you pretend it's not a name, and is just words, then it's "truly love joy" which is just about everything she's NOT feeling at the moment. Being stuck in the middle of five kids and with her dad's injury, she's not getting the love vibes at the moment. That goes for the joy part, too- how joyful can you get when you've been forced to move again, plus your dad's lost his arm? I could go on and on about Absolutely Truly, but how about I sum it with two words...

Anne of Green Gables is a classic. Literally, it's considered a classic, but it's a classic to me, too. Does that make sense? Like, I can't imagine a time when I won't like Anne, no matter how many more modern books take over. There's just no way to be better than her. Every time I have to do a school project with a book I've read in the past, I do Anne of Green Gables, because I love it so much. (Also, I know nobody else will do it, which makes me sad. People should know about it! Other people should do projects on it!) This is probably a really cliche description of Anne, but she definitely has spirit. Who else can do all the things she does? Who else can accidentally bake a cake with liniment, dye her hair green by mistake, or hit a boy on the head with a slate for calling her "carrots?" Nobody but Anne. Anne is timeless.
(Thank you for allowing me that small rant.)

This series is...SQUEE! I don't even really know how to describe it. If you're a fan of it, then you know what I mean. It's just so amazing in every way that you can't even explain it. Everything is so real. That sounds silly, since it's all about magic, but somehow J.K. Rowling makes it seem like you could just turn around and find Hogwarts. (Which you can't, since it has lots of anti-muggle charms, but still.) I can go on and on about this forever, but...I have more to write, so let's go!

This is one of those series that I can read OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again without getting bored. Sometimes I actually find that I skipped a page the first time I read it, and I discover new things. All of the characters are so relatable: I can never decide which one I'm most like, or which one I like best. Emma, because we both love to read and write. Jess, because we're both shy. Cassidy, since we're total opposites. Megan, because she likes art. Becca, since...well, I guess I don't have anything in common with Becca. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THIS SERIES, GO. NOW! :-)

Okay, so the other day I went to Barnes & Noble and lo and behold, what do I see but the FOURTH LAND OF STORIES! I started squealing right then and there. The worst part, was I had no money on me. So I keep begging somebody to take me back so I can get it! (Cross your fingers.) A basic rundown of this series is, twins Alex and Connor Bailey fall into a book, which transports them to the land of fairytales. In each book they face a bigger and bigger dilemma, and each one lands with a HUGE cliffhanger! (Cliffhangers are the best and worst things to ever happen to me.) You better read this!

These books are...
And finally....my favorite authors!!!!
Thanks for reading! This post was especially fun because I got to write about how I feel, and it's really easy to write about your own opinions. Let me know what you think in the comments! What are your favorite books? Series? Authors? I can't wait to find out!
See you!
