As sad as I am, it's time to embrace the new year...and start looking forward to the next big holiday! (Valentine's Day.) Hmmm. Little bit far away.
ANYWAY, onto the post! Today I'm going to be posting about the new books I got for Christmas this year! (Suggested by a frequent commenter.) At the end, there will be a survey so you can choose which one you want reviewed. I'll tell you a secret. One of them is getting reviewed no matter what! But it's extremely likely I'll review two. Without further ado or ada...
A person is so much more than the name of a diagnosis on a chart.
Next, there's Counting by 7s, by Holly Sloan. I sort of started this one, but at the time it was really late and I was so tired I don't even exactly remember what happened. I think I'm going to start it again in a few weeks, maybe, or earlier.
Physik by Angie Sage is actually part of a series. I want to start it, but it's #3, and even though I read the first two, Magyk and Flyte, a couple of years ago, I need to reread them first. I'm well into the process (which is saying a lot, since they're thick books) so I can't wait to read it!
Finally, there's Classic Stories for Girls by a lot of different authors, I think. It's a mashup of snippets from different classics (you know, Heidi, Black Beauty, that kind of thing). It's cool because if you like the excerpt, then you know to buy the whole book and read it. This is perfect for me, as I really love old-fashioned books and classics. <3 (Hint hint Anne of Green Gables and Little Women.)
Now for the survey, as promised...
