First up is The House of Secrets, by Chris Columbus and Ned Vizzini. I got this one because it was highly recommended by my best friend. Plus, it had a review from J.K. Rowling, who is one of my favorite authors! I've started this one, and so far I love the main characters (especially the youngest, Eleanor) but last night I had to stop reading it because I was afraid I would never go to sleep! It's a little frightening.
Next are Sweet Thirteen and Just Kidding, both by Annie Bryant and from the series Beacon Street Girls. (More commonly known as the BSG.) I've always really loved this series because it's just realistic girls and realistic problems that people really do have!
Then there's Tut: The Story of my Immortal Life, by P.J. Hoover. I normally wouldn't check this book out, because although it looks really intriguing, it just isn't my type of book. But it's part of the Lonestar reading list, and I have to read at least one book from it this summer, so I figured, why not?
And now I'm finally reading a book I have heard so much about- The Maze Runner, by James Dashner! I hear raves about this book everywhere I go. So, after sitting on my TBR list for a long time, I've at last gotten it. I'm excited to read it!
Last but not least, There Will Be Bears, by Ryan Gebhart. This one is also on the Lonestar list, and I thought it seemed like a good read. We'll see...
And that's all I got! (Sad, I know. Only 6 books!) So...have you read any of these? What did you think about them? See you later!
