Yep. They exist.
AND THEY'RE COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY FABULOUS!
I saw the recipe the other day, when I got the newest American Girl magazine. (Which is a really great kid-friendly-but-not-cheesy magazine that doesn't have to do with the dolls even though it's the same company and has really great short stories and is altogether awesome.) Anyway, I wanted to make it and today I finally got the chance! Here's the recipe in the magazine...
I was really nervous they wouldn't turn out tasty, because I've never tried anything from a magazine. But they actually turned out amazing!! After they came out of the oven, my sister came in to get one. As soon as she finished it, she said, "Can I have another one??" That's when I knew it was good, right, Carter? :)
In case you're wanting to make them, I'll list out the directions of how I did it.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees!
1.) Gather all your ingredients and supplies (brownie mix, cookie dough roll, teaspoon, bowl, spoon, spatula, and mini muffin tin) in one spot.
2.) Mix up your brownie mix.
3.) Unwrap the cookie dough and slice it up a little (if you want).
4.) Spray your mini muffin tin with Pam.
5.) Put a teaspoon of cookie dough in each muffin thingie. Also put a teaspoon of brownie batter. (Do the cookie dough first, otherwise the batter will fill up the whole muffin thingie.)
6.) Pop the tray in the oven (at 350 degrees) and bake for 10-15 minutes. That's what the magazine said, but 11 minutes turned out to the be the perfect time for my muffins.
ENJOY!
